At PDC, we truly believe competition is about so much more than winning and losing. It's about learning valuable lessons that you can use to improve as a dancer and an individual for the rest of your life. There are numerous benefits of competitive dance including building resilience, building confidence and self esteem, learning to take constructive criticism as inspiration, learning about time management, responsibility and commitment, team bonding skills and more! Our coaches and instructors deeply care about every dancer and his/her personal dance journey. We are dedicated to make your child's competitive dance experience positive, encouraging, rewarding & meaningful! Team members are accepted based upon audition and/or faculty recommendation. Acceptance onto the PDC Team is a year-long commitment, during which students must achieve good attendance, strive to both learn and master choreography & skills, and to represent Prestige Dance Center at regional and national competitions and conventions! Our team members are also given the opportunities to perform in events around the area including half time performances & community holiday celebrations.
