Kelly Whitaker has been dancing since she was five years old. She danced competitively growing up and proceeded into a professional career for eight years. She started her training at Bonnie Williams Dance Studio and focused on ballet as she approached graduation.  She attended many well respected summer dance programs including those at American Ballet Theatre (New York), Boston Ballet School, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.  She continued her training with the Cincinnati Ballet  and completed its trainee program before her professional ballet career with Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina.   Ms. Whitaker danced corps and soloist roles with this company and was known for her flexibility, great feet, and personality on stage. Among her favorite roles are "The Snow Queen" from The Nutcracker and "Summer Fairy" from Cinderella.  During her career, Ms. Whitaker discovered an even deeper passion for teaching dance.  She has taught ballet for 11 years and looks forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, and mind-set required for professional dance.

Jenn Miller

Jenn grew up dancing competitively in the Cincinnati region.  At the age of sixteen, she began teaching and choreographing for local schools and dance studios.  She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Miami University, where she was a five-year member of Vision Dance Company and served on the company’s executive board.  While at Miami, Jenn primarily taught and choreographed tap, while taking on the role of Artistic Director for the company in 2010.  When she’s not teaching dance, Jenn works as a speech-language pathologist in local schools.

She keeps a very positive and light classroom. She has high expectations of her students, but wants all of them to leave class feeling better about themselves and their dancing than when they came in.  We are SO excited to have her join our PDC team!
